Are stoners specified towards just pot?

It typically means people who are just smoking pot. People who indulge in other substances tend to get different nicknames. Junkies, cokeheads, etc...

I can't answer for every stoner, just myself, but I am predisposed to just cannabis, which is a medicine for me.
