How does one love everybody like brothers and sisters in Christ without sacrificing your own happiness?

Love your neighbor like you love yourself is my golden rule....but I am a romantic at heart...the other day I told my friends that this guy was super cute and he over heard me and kissed me on both cheeks...Ive been so happy ever since! But some stick in the mud might think that's flirting and get upset with me and say I'm cheating on my husband...you can't please them all....I do respect my marriage, and other peoples marriages...I just love to feel.

@saintchantal
You might assume the attitude of the Goddess who loves all creatures....and freely spread your sunshine of light and love on all. The source isn't sexual love...it's a feeling of joy and benevolence.

Benevolence comes from the source of a higher spiritual consciousness.....not from an earth bound discrimination. Does the rain worry that some people are disgruntled when they get wet? Does the sun worry about shining its light on the earth? Do either discriminate as to who is to receive water and light?

Let your benevolent love be like a force of nature.

If you worry and listen to critics there would be no water for crops, no light for energy. Heck, there would be no life.....just barren landscape and the skeletons of the dead.
