I was with my mother the last 6 hours of her life before she passed. There is nothing you can do but be there.
Cherish your time you have left with him, I lost my father 2 1/2 years ago and just as of 3 days ago I lost my mother, there never seems to be enough time with your parents, I still have good days and bad days about my dad and now it feels like another bad dream that I can't wake from now about my mom, so cherish what time you have left, because now all I have are the memories and photos of my parents, I know all to well what you are going through.

Are there any questions you'd like to ask? Maybe tell him some of your favorite memories together...

Enjoy and savour the last time you will feel his presence and do the same for him.

ChocolateSauce · 46-50, F
@ScoopJ: No I don't sing. I do talk to him. Sometimes he grunts, but a lot of times he says nothing.

@ChocolateSauce: Figure he can hear and just talk to him. Tell things you have been meaning to, and favorite times together.
Comfort him. Be there.
