Meat isn't bad. But here in the US we eat way more than we should. We don't balance it out properly so what little benefit we do get from meat is throw out the window with our excess eating of it. It's also an extremely inneficient way to receive what little benefits it does provide. How long does it take a cow to reach maturity for slaughter? How much water a day does that cow require, and how much grain? I'll give you a hint, a cow is a big animal....so... Eating beef from a cow is like breaking a hundred and only asking for $1 back. We pour so many resources into beef it's crazy. We don't get near as much food back as we put into the cow. If cattle wasn't heavily subsidized by the govt no one would eat it. Its too expensive. So for anyone who wants govt out of their lives, remember they are the reason you eat beef in the first place.
If anyone wants to eat meat that's fine, but I have yet to hear a doctor recommend you get more red meat in your diet. And all the health benefits of meat are easily replaceable. All the risk of heart disease that comes with it...not worth it for me. I plan on living a good long life. :)

Why are Eskimos healthy?
@Alabamiangods:
BC they eat real pure meats and it does provide all the necessary nutrition. It is a myth that humans have to ear carbs in order to survive.
