Another cold winter night

It is dark out. The air is cool and crisp; your skin tightens and you shiver.
You sit on a park bench and look out into the dark sky, through the naked tree branches, at the light sparkling stars that shimmer and trail. It is the same as it has always been, and you are the same as you always were, looking out as you always have at the vast emptiness of space. Always with the same familiar emotions and memories flooding your mind. When does this stop?

Change sometimes looks for us.You too . I just am patient and do not rush it. Take a risk I’m all in if it is the risk that feels right but a wrong road. Do you see the road ahead? I sometimes have. I sometimes can’t. Either way I am not led on my own. Bigger question why are we here? What is our purpose? Do you know yours? Lots of questions always thinking.

@Lostpoet was this poem an old winter memory or is it cold out there already? 😳

@GoFish It's getting cold already, but I think I wrote that a year or two ago.
