Our house is such a mess 😔😔

It’s 1 AM in the morning and I can’t sleep cause I have a lot on my mind i’m just stressed because it’s a mess every where. So much toys but I’m too tired to bend over and pick them up. Ugh. I might take the dogs out and go for a walk around our neighborhood lol

When my kids were small we had tidy up songs. We put on music and tried to get as much tidying done during the song. There was always a flurry of activity and competition to see who could get the most toys away before the song finished. They got a sticker for their reward charts and a snack when the tidying was done. The favourite song was Tom Jones What's up pussy cat. My kids are 20, 19 and 16 now. They get embarrassed when I put the song on and I wind them up by singing 'Pussy cat pussy cat I love you...." but I know they secretly love it 😹
