I still have not told my ex what my doctor said

This morning, I had a doctors appointment (just a yearly check up) And I updated my doctor because I hadn’t seen him in over a year because he was in India and I had to see a substitute doctor the last time. But yeah, I told my doctor everything that has happened last year and I told him that I wanted to have another baby and I asked what his recommendation was because last time my blood sugar was a little high and I was almost a high risk pregnancy. And he told me that when we did bloodwork a couple months ago with the substitute doctor my labs were good and he said that I’m in the clear to have more babies! And then he asked about my boyfriend because normally he would come to my doctors appointment and I told him that we are engaged (not anymore) and getting married next year. lol I lied but I feel like I just wasn’t in the mood to tell him everything that was going on. But me and my ex we are still in good terms and he still comes over and sees me and the kids but last week was just a bad week for the two of us but we starting off Monday on good terms. And so I want to tell him that we can start trying again, (but just not right now because I really want to wait until our baby is at least 2) I don’t even know why I’m afraid to tell him cause it’s not like he will disagree lol. Every time we fight and make up he always ask me if I’m ready. Ive always tell him to not do it since my last pregnancy I was considered almost a high risk so I decided to do the right thing and ask my doctor first!
