of why not share more online than one feels safe to do. My own answer would be that it's ones own life and there's nothing binary that says that anyone needs to share everything. Some people's life are indeed at first sight or read extremely boring but they can bring a lot to discover nevertheless too.
Revealing nothing personal but exposing ones soul by writing about ones own failures is such a splendid exercise of the ego. A female priest revealed on FB of how she still struggles with her own past of having been a drug addict and now even with trying to write prayers of intercession. That's only one example.
There's nothing cowardly about keeping something private while sharing a lot more too. I've shared a lot in the decades that I've been on here and EP. My inner self hasn't changed and still can luckily love. Nothing in my own life works though. After praising God and repenting ones sins, please do ask for help but yield too.
There's nothing more helpful in reading the Bible than to compare it with what humankind has achieved in greatness till now. It's a long road and the truth is the truest Christians were indeed the earliest ones, but that's no excuse not keep on the path itself. As Christian, read the Bible and plenty more books too.
