This weird dynamic with him

And I think it’s because he thinks I’m fat 😔 He says I’m not fat but when he pokes me in the tummy, I feel like it’s because he thinks I’m fat 😔😔 he says he just likes how it feels but no dude I think you do it because you think I’m fat. And that was one time he almost said he liked how it jiggles, but he caught himself and said he likes the way that it looks. And yes, I’ve been bloated lately because of stress and how I eat and periods and I feel like maybe I’m just gaining weight but of course he’s not gonna tell me but he’s gonna tell me in subliminal little ways and it’s like he’s dropping little hints without even knowing it, but still trying to be polite.

Something that may turn training into fun: do fun things that work your muscles together ^^. A long walk in a new place, learn a dance, do some couple stretching or exercises while talking, so many fun things to do in two + it will work your connection :D I saw some couples do some cool exercices on YT (very simple even), and the results are good for their bodies but also for their minds and strengthening their connection. It doesn't have to be dire and painful, when it can actually be fun :D. Seriously, even 10-15 minutes a day make a difference. ❤ Also, diet is not really my thing (I like to enjoy delicious things when life gives them), but the more mindful I am about what I eat most of the time, the lighter my body feels. Trying for balance. So it could be something related not to how much you eat but what you eat. Cook new things? It is fun to discover new options. One major thing people miss is water and sleep. Those two alone can help you burn non-needed fat ^^. Doing these little changes can make you keep in shape regardless of the hungrier periods :) and not for your husband. For you. Your husband loves you as you are. It seemed that you were insatisfied with yourself. So finding ways to make it fun will definitely help to achieve that balance :D

@Busybee333 it’s just lately. I’ve been stressed eating a lot because I have everything going on at work and just life in general is stressing me out so I’ve been eating a lot more and I think I’ve been gaining a lot of weight. I haven’t even weighed myself in about a month. I mean the number has been going up, but it hasn’t been going up significantly. Also, I walk my dog regularly and I’m outside a lot so I get my exercise. It’s just that regardless if you exercise if you do not eat right, you won’t see any improvement. And yes, you are right about water intake and sleeping! I drink water, but I don’t drink enough for my body and the sodium that I consume so I really need to work on that. Thank you for all the advice.

@TurtlePink I feel you. I know how it feels to fuel on empty engine and push through these obstacles when you already feel burned out. One day I just realized. It never ends. The challenges, the things to solve, the unplanned hoops of life, the growing demands. Somehow, despite all, we must find a way to experience the good things in life as well. That majorly means better time management and specific times set out to unwind. If you don't "make time". If you don't "make priority" of some things, life may just wash them away while you're focusing solely on surviving. It could be only a minute. But a minute in which you remember who you are. I figured.. since I reminded myself to "live" every day, even in challenges.. I notice things that make me feel alive more often and am more present in these moments / without necessarily pushing away my responsibilities. But yeah. Must find time for what matters most :)

He loves you. That's what matters most. As long as you are healthy (not talking about looks), it's fine. I remember my sis loved to play with my jelly arms. It was so genuine, I was happy too! 😆 Am I a super model now? Nah xD. But getting in shape for me is more about staying mobile and feeling strong. Also working on core strength to improve my posture. Looks are just a bonus ;). Nobody complained about my deluxe hugs so far! So having soft edges ain't too bad. Toning is something I want to do for myself though as I want to do activities that demand some stamina :D . Looking forward to long hikes, after some prep training to ensure I last the trip lol ❤
