I really do hate going to Dollar tree

Every time I go, there’s always somebody in front of me who never has enough change or they have to count pennies and hold up the line. So I’m starting to think that Dollar tree isn’t for everybody. I don’t know why I still shop there. Dollar tree is only for people who are below a certain income. And I even told myself that if I won the lottery, I’m not shopping at Walmart. I’m not shopping at Ross, I’m not shopping at Dollar tree because I feel like it’s taking from people who it’s actually meant for. If you have the money but still on a budget like me, go buy your stuff somewhere else like Ross and TJ maxx. Ross will be my new Dollar tree. Because I still like the idea of getting things cheaper. But I no longer need things that cost $1.25 at Dollar tree. It’s not for people like me anymore. When it comes to if I ever become rich, I’m gonna start shopping at places meant for rich people because if you’re rich, why are you at Dollar tree it’s the same thing with buying a house.

If I was rich I’m not gonna buy a $300,000 house because it’s taking from somebody that can actually afford that. I’m gonna buy the mansion because the mansion was made for people with my income (even though I don’t have the income yet, it’s just that I’m thinking in the future) I hate when people say if they win the lottery they’re gonna live at modest life. No, you need to be buying the $6.8 million mansion because someone else who can’t even afford that and so you’re leaving it on the market because all of these rich people wanna take houses that aren’t even for them. They want to take houses out are made for middle and lower class families. So like yes if you win the lottery, you better blow your money on expensive things. You don’t have to blow it at all, but I better not see you in a dollar tree 😤😤

Dollar Tree has some small stuff but seems since they raised their basic prices and brought in the more expensive stuff they don’t have that much I really want. I used to stock up on certain things. And used to go at least twice a month. Not any more. And it was a few years ago I went to pay for something with a $5 bill and the cashier took out a pen and marked it as though it could be counterfeit. I told her that I never saw anyone do that on anything less than a $10 bill. She said someone had come in the store and passed a counterfeit $5 bill and it wasn’t caught till the person was gone and out of the store. And I used to work with that woman when I was at Wal-mart, she was a cashier there then. Kind of irked me that she marked the money I handed her.

I went to Ross on Tuesday (Senior discount on Tuesdays) and bought doggie toys for the new German shepherd puppy at the car lot, some body wash, cleaning stuff and other things. Didn’t cost all that much. Dog toys were about half the price of Walmart’s dog toys. I get irked with Walmart quite a bit about certain things and try to find alternative stores to shop at for such things. I go to Ross during the weekdays when it’s not crowded.

I miss going to bin discount stores up in Oklahoma City. But they are way too crowded for me to be going in there and shopping. People will bring their young children and with me on chemo with lower immunity I don’t need to be around that. I was finding all kinds of bargains at those stores and have a lot of things I am using from there.

One cashier and a whole line of people ahead of you buying a basket full of tiny things that have to rung up one at a time.
