Something really embarrassing happened today at Costco

We went to Costco today and my son screamed whenever I told him that we wasn’t buying a play set 🤦🏿‍♀🤣🤣 so I had to remove him. I’m glad we are at a place in society where people don’t judge anymore because I see kids screaming all the time throwing hissy fits, and everyone just minds their business but then whenever it’s your child doing it, you think everyone’s judging, but everybody just went on with their business. But I had to remove him because he was like throwing a fit on the floor and that’s not acceptable! as my son he knows better!!! 🤦🏿‍♀🤦🏿‍♀

My husband and I heard a screaming child as we headed to our car in the mall parking lot. He said something (jokingly) about the parents deserving to be shot. I said that I had just been thinking that I was glad those days were behind us. He said, we never had those days. I said, oh yes we did. "Which kid?" he asked. "All of them!" I said. I think that all children melt down sometimes. Hopefully not too often.
I find most Moms deal with the situation very well.

I remember when I was a kid if we threw a fit my parents would just walk away leaving us to scream alone in an aisle. The sudden fear of having to walk home shut us up pretty quick. 🤣 Of course my parents were only ever one aisle away and keeping tabs on us but it worked.
Kids learning how to handle disappointments. Remove them from the situation, hold them and hug them to help soothe the disappointment. Learning how to handle disappointments is something we all have to go through. A good learning opportunity for your son.

@Magicianzini Amazingly not wrong, this time… lol
@GoldnJulz If you're still fixated with me, give it time. It will pass. I'll just keep handing you food to help you with the process.
