I’m sorry, but a ring doesn’t guarantee that someone won’t hurt you

Just because you give someone a ring, doesn’t mean that everything is gonna be ok. Honestly, the ring isn’t that important at all. I’m more worried about the commitment and the partnership! It’s like, are you gonna start acting like you’re the owner of me now? Like you have possession over me. That’s what I’m afraid of the most and why I’m not sure about being engaged to him. I want to marry him, yall know this because I used to cry about it on here and it was so embarrassing but now that we’re here and we’re engaged, I’m starting to see a different side of him. Again, like he has possession over me. I’m not into that

You don't really know someone until you've lived with them under the same roof for a long time. Sometimes you don't even fully know them until after you're married.

yeah the ring is a prison but that's the price of commitment.. it goes both ways..

@passingby8 we have couples therapy once a week and we go tomorrow and this is some of the stuff I’m gonna bring up.
