Baby there’s a difference between “helping me” and “managing me”

I don’t always want him to give me advice. I don’t always want him to coach me. I don’t always want him to correct me or feel like he has to problem solve everything. I just want affection!!! And for him to comfort me and for us to emotionally Connect. I’ve told him these things but he’s just too much in his ways. He thinks he needs to provide for me. I mean, I appreciate when a man does that but stop making it seem like I’m your responsibility. Because in the way it makes it seem like you’re just managing me.

As a man, I was always taught to be a problem solver for the people who love me. It's a force of habbit, so be sure to remind him you don't need a solution.
