@BiasForAction A friend of mine said that he doesn't like the word "surreal" much, but that he also couldn't think of another word to describe 9/11/2001.
We're New Yorkers (I knew one person who died at his place of business there. I had known him since he was a little kid...and he had his first child, a son, just a few months earlier. He was 30 when he died).

@DragonFruit Last year, I was doing research and I found a video of a friend who worked in the Towers getting interviewed by Ch.11. I had never seen it. THAT was surreal.
