Who Are You When Survival Is No Longer Enough?

There’s a kind of struggle that doesn’t show on the outside. You’re functioning, pushing forward, doing what needs to be done... yet quietly questioning who you’ve become in the process.

When survival lasts too long, it starts shaping your identity. You adapt, you harden, you grow… but sometimes you lose pieces of yourself along the way. And the hardest part isn’t the struggle ... it’s not knowing which version of you is real.

If you’re in that in-between space... not broken, not healed.. just searching, you’re not alone.

Survival has shaped my identity. But there's nothing broken. I built a survival identity which protected me from the threats which initiated the building of it. This is an indication that there's nothing that needs to be healed. Nothing is broken or needs to be "fixed." My True Identity's being intact is proof of that. Had the individuation of Source within not been so together, it wouldn't have supplied me with the tools needed to build a survival strategy.

@Amberlynnn allow your sweet Ruby dog, with her big heart and unconditional love, lead you back to your real self.
Survival may seem like complacency for many. especially if followed by a failed attempt. But the real me was waiting for an opportunity .. a view to a kill as they say and preparing the ground, studying options, studying people, studying behaviour etc. And the real version of me safely hibernating waiting for the power.
