Is $35k-$40k alot annually for a salary?

So far from my little side businesses, I’ve only made $17,000 this year 😭😭 somebody was saying $40,000 a year is not a lot. It is if you’ve only making $17,000. I mean 40k may not be enough to live on and you may not have any money left over to save but at least you’ll have your bills paid! It’s enough for that and nothing else. you won’t be in a negative like me. So many times this year I’ve had to ask my boyfriend and my mom to help me with my car payment. I feel like if I made 40K a year I wouldn’t have to ask them anymore. So yeah, I definitely take that job! I can’t afford to discriminate

First and foremost, congrats on your side business! 40k is not enough to live comfortably but it is a start as long as your bills is paid and you have a roof over your head you're blessed. Try to save if you can even if its $5-$20
