Oh I did it one time with the boy, took him to school the day after New Years and didn’t know that they were out of school a couple more days. 😂 We got up early and got ready for nothing.
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
We kinda did the same. We aren’t used to getting the whole week lmao
TurtlePink · 51-55, M
@SwampFlower yeah because whenever I was in school we only got Thursday and Friday off. I mean, I’m not mad or anything. It’s great that schools are finally realizing kids need more time with their families but I often wonder about those parents who don’t get to get off work for the whole week and who is watching the kids if they can’t afford a babysitter lol
SwampFlower · 31-35, F
@TurtlePink I wonder about that too. I have extra kids here for that reason lol.
TurtlePink · 51-55, M
@SwampFlower awwwe! That’s such a blessing 🥺🥺

I bet they were happy.

Mine have school. They’re cheap with their thanksgiving days 😶

They get the whole week off?
TurtlePink · 51-55, M
@JimboSaturn yeah 🤣🤣 and then at my niece and nephew’s school I feel like they are always out like they always get early out at least once a month and then they get like a Friday off at least once a month.
JimboSaturn · 56-60, M
@TurtlePink Sweet lol
Degbeme · 70-79, M
How long do they get off?
TurtlePink · 51-55, M
@Degbeme the whole week. But whenever I was in school, we only got off Thursday and Friday lol. Probably because I went to a small redneck school.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
@TurtlePink Kids here only get the day off, not a whole week, no redneck school here.
