Ok so I basically just got chewed out

He said that I was wasting money again when I was just replacing the kid’s stuffed animals.I mean, whenever I was a kid I got to play with my toys and so I want my kids to play with their toys and that’s why I buy them toys and when a toy breaks or when, their stuffed animal gets destroyed by the dogs, as parents we have to replace that stuff. I mean, my mom never did, but I don’t wanna be like her. I want to be different.

I want my kids to always have toys to always have stuffed animals always have dolls because that interaction helps develop their brains. That’s why I’m such a passionate and loving person because I played with my Barbie dolls. There are studies showing that too. So It’s not wasting money if it’s worth it. And I don’t buy them toys all the time. Just once in a while we go shopping for toys. And even if Christmas is around the corner, they still do deserve random shopping trips. Life doesn’t have to be so boring and depressing life doesn’t have to be all about working and saving money. I just want my kids to look back and say that they had a fun childhood, even if we’re not able to go on trips as a family like everyone else, buying them toys is good enough. And they always look so happy when they get a new toy why would you want to end that for them?
