There was something about those yellow/orange apocalyptic looking skies from the canadian wildfires a while back that brought a strange sense of peace
and aliveness. Something felt different. It was like the sky version of ambient music. There was a quietness and silence in it. Driving through it felt like I was in a dream or on another planet and I fit right in. I can't fully explain it, but it was vividly comforting and serene.
