Is it imperative to detach slightly from an experience of you wish to teach others about it...?

Its sometimes helpful but in choosing to detàch the memory may fade and the lesson might be forgotten. I suggest making record of the experience(i write lots of things on here to document they happened.) Then when i detach to acheive objectivity at least i have what happened in writing.
