I can sometimes tell when he’s lying in a text because he will add an “lol”

I was rereading our text from over two years ago when we first met and I remember, I asked him to tell me about himself and he told me that he grew up in Dallas and he add that “lol”at the end. lol he didn’t grow up in Dallas 🤦🏿‍♀ later on he told me that he was from Nebraska 😅😅😂 I mean I get why you would wanna lie about that but I don’t know why he lied so much like it was just little white lies I guess. I don’t know, it’s stuff that I still think about. in the beginning when we first was getting to know each other, I never lied to him at all like I told him my life story and my real name and that I had two kids, but I think he was trying to protect his identity which he has nothing to hide, but it’s just men do it too like women do. we will give out our stage names when we meet somebody new like I always tell people that my name is Jade even though that’s not my real name. but I never felt the need to do that with him because I knew I could always trust him. I just love him to pieces yall
