Driving to the top of a 12,000 foot ridge in Colorado right after they ploughed it open of snow in late May.
Yet I did it at midnight! (since it was not open earlier). I drove straddling the double yellow line, flanked by tall snow banks.
But I passed a few pickups going the other way!
