If you had a year off with pay, what would you do?

I have had almost a year off with pay it was one shy of a year. i didn't take a holiday for 5 years and no sick leave, i worked a solid 5 years straight, it so happened that i had made 10 years in the same job and got long service leave. First i rested and allowed my self space and time to breathe, without having to live by the clock. i did plenty of volunteer work at the homeless shelter soup kitchen, garden communities, animal shelters, and ramdomly go out to the parks that had some homeless people living there and offer them some beverages and coffee scrolls in the morning or afternoon. I travelled and went for long drives. And i had been given a position to teach sunday school for 5 months. it was great for me, and feels good to give back to others it grounds me.

Finally build the homeless shelter for my fellow brothers and sisters.

Travel, volunteer for a cause/causes I feel strongly about, spend more time with the people I care about

I'd travel.

Go sailing... :)

First fry my brain with movies. Second. Music. Third. Create my tree energy sulf sufficient world saving plan. 4th probably start a new furniture business che.

That's really awesome, i would do some of that, but there would be alot of lazy too I'm sure, and catch up on all that's gone to the wayside

Your suggestion sounds very good. Personally, I may spend a little time travelling too.
