Why is family always the worst?

Sometimes I wonder why family even exists. They always seem to destroy all the good in life.

Family should be a safe place, a soft place even to rest from the rest of the world, to let go of masks we invariably have to wear to some degree, and to it be ourselves.

I think it's way better when a family's foundation is strong, supportive, and infused with laughter ... and that takes good people.

I'm sorry family is not that for you.
