Homeowner Struggles

I had to have the water turned off this evening because of a broken pipe under the house. I'll get a plumber, hopefully first thing tomorrow. Isn't life wonderful?

I hate plumbing. Was licensed master plumber for years and hate plumbing. Had to do all my own. Crawling under the house to fix a leak when its below zero degrees. Always something needing fixed or replaced.

@DemureDeb i had to get a master plumber license since contractors license didn’t cover plumbing. I could do the plumbing for a new house i was building but would have to pay a licensed plumber couple hundred dollars to check me and certify the plumbing. All just a money maker for plumbers. I did the electric but cost $50 for a friend electician to check it.

@DemureDeb Everything in this world is about money. Things get done as long as the right people get money from it. These little add-ons to licenses are there for plumbers, or other trades, to make some easy money, I figure anyway.
