Why do people shout/yell at each other at work?

Isnt it the most inconsiderate thing ever if two people yell from two different offices at each other if there are other people around? It is so annoying!!! Why can't they get up to talk to each other.

If i was their boss i certainly would have talked to them about it. You know.. it is just common courtesy not to yell .

@TwinklelilStar: for some , it is a release of the work stress. So if you do it with them you are going to be release the stress they created for you.
