Why do people shout/yell at each other at work?

Isnt it the most inconsiderate thing ever if two people yell from two different offices at each other if there are other people around? It is so annoying!!! Why can't they get up to talk to each other.

Cellphones. They have made us think we can speak at greater distance. Now everyone in offices has this tick.
