Is it careless of me that I forget to apply deodorant or perfume and my mom scolds me?

Yeah I often forget to apply deodorant or perfume when I am in home and my mom keeps complaining about my body odor because of that which is probably because I go out to college or to give exams and stuffs so I end up sweating after coming home as the sunlight can be very bright. She has been saying about this since I was 15 to put deo or perfume. Now I am 22 and still my mom says me to put perfume because of the bad odor and calls me careless because I forget about it a lot.
