All of a sudden my inbox is dead on Instagram and the dating apps. What could be the reason?

Yeah seriously my inbox feels dead everywhere. On Instagram, I follow some girls on Instagram whom I knew in high school days and they are 20-22 year olds and I also turned 22 a bit over 3 weeks ago and I was even chat 3 or 4 of them but all of a sudden for the past 3 days none of them are chatting with me. Even Aishu who used to reply to my last message mostly in Saturdays too didn’t message me yesterday. On dating apps a week ago I was matched with 3 girls who were within the 20-22 age range too but they unmatched me for no reason even though we seemed to have things in common. Few days ago I was matched with another girl who is 19 and we too had things in common to chat about like college, common hobbies etc but for the past 4 days she didn't chat with me at all. She did say she had lab exams in her college but she hasn't been replying at all so it feels like she is ghosting me. My most recent match was 5 days ago by another girl who is 18 and we too had an decent chat and some interests and hobbies in common but we study different courses in college but even she isn't replying to me for the past 2-3 days. I honestly thought maybe I was shadowbanned on Instagram and those dating apps but I can still post on Instagram and followers can see them so I guess I am being ghosted by the girls.

I always found the early twenties a difficult age to really connect with new people. I haven’t made any new friends during that period in life. Most of the friends I had remained, but we also all went through a lot of changes and there was less contact than before because we were all building our personal lives. It could be that, not even a lack of time just so much going on.

@kimmy159 Ever since I turned 22 which was just a bit over 3 weeks, I have been feeling even more lonely and way older compared to when I was 20 or even 21. Idk whether its because I am graduating college in mid 2023 and then study MBA or its because i am just 8 years away from 30.

@Hero22 8 years is a very long time especially when you’re in your twenties, so much will still change and happen in those 8 years ^^
Meeting people and forming new connections can’t be forced unfortunately. Try not to focus on that as a goal, it usually has to happen spontaneously
