How many times did it take you to pass your driving test?

Just one. I passed the first time. That is saying something because while I was waiting to turn back into the office I was rear ended by a much larger vehicle. I thought we would go back inside and he would fail me. Instead, he told me that I handled myself well and issued my license.

One. A one eyed spider monkey could get their drivers license in the U.S. It's way too fucking easy here, hence tens of millions of terrible drivers.

First time but with maximum demerits. I still signal and shoulder check 30 years later, long after most people have given those up.

Twice.
The first time, I lost points for not exceeding the speed limit, when the rest of the traffic was speeding.
The second time, I asked the examiner, before we started the road test. If all other cars are speeding, am I supposed to do so? The answer was no. I passed the test, and didn't speed.
