i came across a true pathological liar in real life, not just from the films or the books. a real person

I had a cousin who was a relentless liar. His dad was killed and everyone felt sorry for him, but instead of facing it, he just lets everyone take care of him. He ripped my mom off so bad. He would come to the house and make up stories you knew weren’t true. I remember speaking up once, like y’all just gonna let him lie? And they did. And they gave him money, food and sympathy. It’s been 12 years and he’s still lying and mooching.
