For a second grader, do you think waking 0.8 miles to get to school is too far?

Clearly I’m not gonna make her walk that, I’ll drive her but I just can’t believe that’s considered walking distance for an elementary. And even if we walked together, what about me having to walk all that way back home 💀💀

Aah it's nothing, I walked it, my kids do, as a rule I drop them as near as possible when the weather is horrendous, otherwise they walk
