I don't know and I feel like I've experienced 20 people lifetimes with the amount of heartbreak, tragedy and drama in my life. What it did tell me though is I am a survivor.
SarahTheHooker · 26-30, F
I would throw this out there...

If you don't experience heartbreak, in all it's many varied forms, then you're truly not really living....

Ponder that one....

No, but you can also learn to make healthier, wiser decisions over time, which results in a less painful, traumatizing human experience
If it was never difficult, people would never appreciate good times. Some are unlucky though and constantly get the rough end of the stick

I think it's not posible, but I think that some people are more sensitive than others and that makes things difficult and we feel just too much
Beatbox34 · 31-35, M
To people who find love, I'm envious of them lol.
I'm the idiot who keeps trying by putting his heart out there yet I get screwed over. So yeah. I'm done with that bullshit.

I don't care if I stay single and get my heart broken but to be disposed off hurts more. It's like someone existed at one point and now it's just a void.

Love is a facade and a sham in my books. Sorry if I sound like a cynic now.

I’d have to say no. Life is full of adversity and heartbreak, the important thing is to not let all of the hard times crush you. Keep pushing forward, not fun a lot of the time but it’s how we grow stronger

@wunderluv... A wonderful advice.
...the important thing is to not let all of the hard times crush you. Keep pushing forward,..
There are people who marry their childhood sweetheart but that's rare.
riseofthemachine · 41-45, M
@PaleandPolluted I know one couple that happened too and i take my hat off to them

Countless books and religious texts have been written on this subject, attempting to answer it.
JimboSaturn · 51-55, M
That would mean that you have not really lived at all.

No because if a person is exposed to a lot, they'll experience heartbreak from abuse.

If they're exposed to a little, they'll experience heartbreak from neglect.
Mrjingleswilly · 51-55, M
It’s a long, often torturous thing being with one person for life. There’s a lot of good things, but a lot of heartbreak and a lot of doubt. It’s worth it, but it’s not easy.
riseofthemachine · 41-45, M
Do you want it in bibical terms and im not religious mad " Jesus died in the cross for us " Thats why life is so hard .
No one gets away with it
SoLeRiMix · 31-35, M
Yes! Hurtful moments come in many forms. Heartbreaks come and go but we have to move on. That's the main point. God bless all...🙏😇
I don’t think anyone can say that things in life always went the way they wanted. Especially if you take chances and actually live, without playing it safe, you will face disappointments. The upside is, a win is even more satisfying.

I think there are people born that will never know heartbreak. Not many but I do.
eMortal · M
Yes. Free yourself from any attachment.

Depends on how quick you die
Miram · 31-35, F
There is no reason. It is pure chaos.
Two words sum it up: Fallen World!

Yea if someone is cold hearted
Bang5luts · M
I don't believe it is. My heart broke when I was a little boy and got home from school and found out my dog was hit by a car.
