Have you ever had to ride the city bus?
Do they have to pick you up at a bus stop? Like, if they’re driving by you where there isn’t a stop, why can’t you get on?

I rode them all the time in college, and yeah they can only pick you up at a stop. Otherwise, there'd just be people all up and down the sidewalk tryna hitch a ride and it would be super slow.
