Seriously, I do feel like I get mixed messages about this, as a white guy, from progressive/liberal media. It is not OK if I'm indifferent to people's skin colour (I'm not supposed to say things like "I don't see race") and it is also not OK if I'm really turned on by someone's skin colour (that would be "fetishizing".) I am glad you have a less judgemental attitude!
