Have you traveled around your state?

(Before the pandemic and everything else going on)
I grew up in Arkansas and I kinda wish we got to explore Arkansas before vacationing to other states. Theres a place in Arkansas, I think it’s in Hot Springs where are you can dig for real diamonds and I think Arkansas is the only state that has that attraction and I’ve always wanted to go there and plus you get to keep the diamond if you find it.

But yeah growing up we went to Texas all the time and we would always go to Galveston 🙄🙄 the beach there is dirty as hell. Now that I live in Texas, I want to see all the other cities like Austin

A few places but not nearly all of it. I would love to spend a day or two at that diamond mine. My in-laws went about 40 years ago and they said you should bring the equipment you need so you don’t have to rent it (bucket, shovels, maybe a sifter) and pack a lunch and cold drinks to have during the day. My MIL said there were teen boys there going every day and making money off of the quartz crystals they were digging up. They would clean them up and sell them to the tourist gift shops.
