Ok so I took my cousin out just now with Daisy because we were gonna go to the dog park to play

So I drove to the dog park with them and we all got out heading to the dog field. There’s also a trail that leads to a recreation area with a lake if you follow it. My cousin started down the path instead of following me and Daisy to the dog area. I thought nothing of it because sometimes my cousin likes to wonder off because she’s new to the area and likes to explore. After Daisy did her business in the dog park, I took her out of there and we went back to the car. I wasn’t trying to leave my cousin stranded 🤦🏿‍♀️ I just thought that I could meet her at the other end because I’m not walking that long ass trail to the recreational area with the lake. To makes matter more worse, my phone died and I was too lazy to plug it in when I was driving because it’d take me just 2 minutes just to drive to the recreational area.
So when I was leaving, I guess she saw me while she was still on the path. But I thought she was long gone because i could no longer see her bright hat

When I arrived at the recreational area, I plugged in my phone and I had like 9 missed calls from her and some texts 🙊🙉🙈

I called her back because I truly didn’t want her to think the wrong thing that I was abandoning her. I explained her what my intentions were to why I left and she was like “that’s stupid, why would I walk down a path I don’t know? How was I supposed to know where the trail ends? I thought you wanted us to play fetch with Daisy not go walking to the lake” and blah blah blah 🙄🙄

And in my head, I’m like “then why the hell did you stated walking down there in the first place? If we were supposed to be playing with Daisy, why didn’t you follow me? Why did you walk the trail?🤦🏿‍♀️“

But I didn’t say any of that. I just kept my mouth shut and apologized 🙄🙄
