Is it ever ok to cry in front of your kids?

I know it sounds silly but should they be allowed to see that? Or would it worry them? But I feel like if you just tell them why im crying they would find it normal and ok. They would just accept it since you explained why you’re crying to them. It would be a teaching moment

I believe it’s perfectly okay. In fact, I believe it’s important that they see that vulnerable side of their parents. That they know that even mommas and daddy’s cry sometimes. You don’t necessarily have to try to explain the why of it except for the general happy, sad, tired, etc., but it’s damn important that they know emotions are normal and valid.
