Different times in many different situations. All employees were encouraged to sell our services at my last job and that was waste management. Plus I often received payments at that job. Same in the computer repair industry.

@Oster1 I have been told about that. Not as far as I could tell.

Actually WM was far more humane than say CR&R. Even environmentally speaking. CR&R are robber barons in comparison.

@Oster1 not in my book. You see CR&R forced bought out WM here. And I have worked for both! Ten years WM, two years CR&R.

At the very least WM at least attempted to appease the state laws. CR&R didn't give a d*mn.

@DeWayfarer Interesting, WM, appears to be number 1, by far on many lists. CR&R, does not appear on those lists, and is primarily, California based.

@Oster1 correct California only! Yet CR&R instead of their employees being trained by the county they falsify their employees training out right as well as have their own environmental training when forced.
