COVID-19 KICKED MY ASS

So at first I had no symptoms. One day I wakeup and I have the worst headache of my life I’m screaming holding my head in pain cuz it feels like so much pressure and I have so much nausea and I was vomiting for 12 hours. The days after we’re recovering. Today is the best I felt and tomm I’m actually cleared to start working again. I’m triple vaccinated so i guess I just have bad luck

You don't have bad luck, the vaccine is great but all the vaccine does is prevents a large chance of you going to a hospital bed and on a ventilator, doesn't "cure" the pandemic. More unvaccinated have to use emergency services. Glad you are better now though and take care of yourself.

@SatanBurger That right there sums up the mistake we (I mean the royal we) have been making. We wanted the vaccines to be our way out, while they are only a tool towards. Patience, itself, and acceptance ultimately is another needed tool. I can read whatever I want from a virologist, who likely knows what he is talking about, who questions these vaccines and how they could prolong the pandemic (I can't dispute if he is right, or wrong), and there is a feeling of fatigue listening to experts, things need to be peer-reviewed, while maybe they do, there is active censorship which creates a discord of trust.

I still stand with my comments, I would have trusted our (here) response better if politicians didn't speak before public health could. Politicians are always looking to offer a solution.

@SW-User Well not saying you believe vaccines are the cure, not saying you're anti vax either but the majority of anti vaxxers on here when they talk about the vaccines, talk as if it was supposed to cure the pandemic. When I look it up, I get thousands of articles from professionals all saying the same thing, the vaccine does work but anti vaxxers want a cure and it's not a cure. There's never cures to viruses, if we can cure viruses we'd be able to cure genetic diseases also.

Nobody said vaccines were a cure, not even the scientists. It does keep you from going to a hospital on a bed though. Stats have been able to prove that most of the unvaccinated go to the hospitals.

I tried looking up your virologist and found nothing as a side note so have no idea what you're talking about. I'm not sure what is meant by prolonging the pandemic, it's a virus, even at the start, I expected it to stay like the flu only deadlier. I was under no impression that we weren't stuck with it but with vaccines, it's manageable.
