A doggie door on a sliding door. Only option. Tricky.

@CodyCode I don't see why it couldn't be done ..especially if it's a screen door
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@CodyCode wait. Whatttt?! Are you gonna slide it while it’s open? Is it glass ? Is this real life? haha
CodyCode · 36-40, M
@SW-User Glass. Like a 70s' indoor out door patio. 4 large door way panes of glass. Two slide open/ closed.
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@CodyCode just put the doggie door in the wall, beside?
CodyCode · 36-40, M
@WaryWitchWandering A doggie door...in a sliding glass door. Hole. Cut glass. Hinge.
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@CodyCode I’m terrified baha

@CodyCode is there a way to take one glass pane out replace it with another kind of material? One that you could install a doggy door ?
CodyCode · 36-40, M
@WaryWitchWandering My friend Felix. He needs access. My best intentions. His best interest. I assure you.

@Myzery never saw anything like this before… I have no sliding doors in my home, and my dog is fine with me just opening the door (but we are home more often than not)
Myzery · 41-45, F
@WaryWitchWandering I've seen them at other people's homes. That's the only reason I knew about them. They have a variety of sizes too. I thought it was pretty handy. Because it's removable, so you don't have to have a permanent opening in any door.

@WaryWitchWandering I live in a congested city. Chicago. Downtown. The door leads to a patio. 22 floor. Safe. Screened. But no locked door access.
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@Myzery it’s awesome!
WaryWitchWandering · 36-40, F
@CodyCode ah I see

@SW-User My thoughts as well. Started pondering the squeak of a brass hinge as it swung a glass door shut however.
Felix is eccentric by design.
