I have fears that are getting on my nerves.

SW-User
@SW-User sometimes the things that scare us the most are the ones we should confront so as to move on

SW-User
@SW-User I just want to defeat it in one go. Damn lingering. 😔

SW-User
@SW-User it can be difficult to let go of these fears but with time and patience with yourself it can be done..don't be so hard on yourself

SW-User
@SW-User I literally hanged one up on the wall. F**k you, trauma! Even get it interrupting through the letterbox. Don't ask. Too sitcommy [wthout the build/punchline] to explain...and no, I am 100% not BSing lol [I know...goddamnit]

SW-User
@SW-User This is like a riddle. 🤔

@SW-User A business flyer for old flame's dad's business. Bit of a slap in the face is all. Would prefer not to have that randomly appear and see her face via his...not to sound dramatic
Thing on the wall was something random I saw in a shop that made me think of said person that has been bugging me for many years. After a few moments deliberation I had the idea: to buy it and hang it on the wall as my own kind of aversion therapy, because F**k You, Closure [I'll never get it anyway and I have come to accept that].*
Good thing too, because this actually pre-empted getting the other thing through the letterbox which was entirely out of my control. Isn't it weird how life does that? Seeing her long gone face in her dad's and actually almost laughing at the sheer F**k You level of coincidence from life sometimes. Oh life, never change.
So in short...my aversion therapy was for the best and was not unhealthy. It was the right call.
✌️
*This is oversimplifying it. I do and I don't It is too much to explain and I can't be arsed. Not worth the effort necessary to explain it. It's relatively fine and is working out nicely.

@SW-User I never would have solved that. 😬
But that’s a brilliant way to get over someone. Is it ever going to come down?

@SW-User Nah. Not too concerned with it tbh. I kinda like it now anyway - on its own merits. :)
