Can you call for another Uber to pick you up if you are on another Uber ride?

I ask because this homeless lady needed a ride to the homeless shelter so I paid for her Uber but now I kind of need it to get back to my place and it's cold outside and the drive to the homeless shelter that I sent her on is like 20 minutes so I have 20 more minutes already outside if I cannot call another Uber.
