Boomers deny

Does anyone else notice boomers completely deny any mental or physical health conditions? I had a boomer ask if I really needed to wear glasses. Really? No Karen I just have attention seeking behavior my glasses aren’t for seeing at all 🤓

They come from a time when those things didn't exist. Those "problem" people were just sent away to the asylum so normies didn't have to deal with them.
It's also a I pulled myself up by my own bootstraps mentality. Which ties into the same I'm a hard working American mentality of succeed or die.
My dad is the same way. He didn't believe I had ocd for years even though he also can't stop his nicotine addiction either.
Many people don't believe something is real until they have it.
