I bought lightbulbs for the whole house

Labeled “Daylight”

In the display case they looked like a bright yellow light (natural sunlight)

But we just put them on and they’re white!
Since when is daylight white?

Light is measured on the Kelvin Scale ... in light bulbs, soft white is around 2500-3000K and daylight is around 5000-5500K .... soft white will be warmer (more yellow) and daylight will be cooler (more white) ...

If you can take the bulbs back, choose bright white (around 3500K) if you want a warmer look
