Why is the art of conversation lost on some people?

When I’m trying to get to know a new guy, it’s always me who ends up asking a lot of questions to get to know them. Yet there’s no back & forth where they ask me questions to get to know me. 🤷🏻‍♀️It’s a turn off, so future conversations rarely occur.

I've noticed that myself a few times with males and females on here,some people are just self absorbed and dont realise its a two way thing.i dont want to spend an hour talking about their life 🙄🤣
