What happened to the people you knew in high school?

A lot of the girls I knew either dropped out during junior year, or became pregnant by senior year. As for the boys? Well let's just say that many ended up joining gangs. A couple of boys that I knew didn't make it through their 30's, and most ended up in jail/prison.

I only know my best friend who I went to college with afterwards - he's working with kids with disability.
Another mate I was in the swim team with drowned. Boat tipped over on lake, he stayed with the boat and the others swam to get help, but the rescue guys wouldn't risk going out. It's not a very deep lake so the waves can get crazy.

Country town in Australia - everybody went in different directions. No-one stayed. I don't know where the others are. No idea.
