What happened to the people you knew in high school?

A lot of the girls I knew either dropped out during junior year, or became pregnant by senior year. As for the boys? Well let's just say that many ended up joining gangs. A couple of boys that I knew didn't make it through their 30's, and most ended up in jail/prison.

They're mostly in high positions. Some are stuck like myself. Some just had extremely rich dads who took care of their futures by setting them up with young filthy rich businessmen.
@assemblingaknob Wow. I grew up in the inner city, where many kids were poor. There are a few who ended up successful, but many ended up becoming a product of their environment, unfortunately.

@latinbutterfly I hope I don't surrender to my environment. Things are kinda rough.
Our school had both rich and poor kids. The rich kids could pay "donations" that would buy them benefits, council positions and references of excellence for future education in international universities that the poorer kids couldn't afford.
I'm from the poorer side of town. Constant external forces truly influence your abilities to perform your best and achieve your dreams. And it explains why I'm stuck. I wouldn't have believed that this is true hadn't I experienced this for myself.
