When was the last time you did something illegal?

@thepreposterouspanda Over here in South Africa a court ruled that private use indoors is now legal. But buying and selling of it remains illegal.

@iMystery It's legal in my state medically, but it's illegal to grow it in the state AND it's illegal to transport it across state lines... so I'm not really sure how that's supposed to work haha.

@thepreposterouspanda Lol here it's legal only to grow it for personal use and only enough for one person .. though what exactly "enough for one person" is has not been specified lol.

@thepreposterouspanda I had some writing experience too as a freelance journalist a few years ago so I guess that paper thought my writing was decent lol

@thepreposterouspanda I have to agree... But it has almost become a burden to me as I am usually the one tasked with writing all kinds of reports for my damn manager 🙄.

@iMystery That sucks!! Honestly though, I'm kind of jealous; I've been disabled for 10 years and I just want something to do at this point hahaha.

@iMystery I've debated it! It's actually what my younger brother does for a living. I'm just not great with math, and it seems to factor into it a good deal. 😅 I'm working a lot on my musicianship though; I think it's something I might be able to find work in. :)

@thepreposterouspanda With a bit of focus, programming is not as hard as it may seem. I started learning some too but then got side tracked.

@iMystery I did a bit of it in high school, but it was the original Turing coding; not overly useful these days haha.

@thepreposterouspanda If I'm not mistaken Turing is still used to test AI (to test whether an artificial intelligence can think like a human).

@iMystery I think it's impossible! I doubt anyone could even learn all the languages in the world. It is such a vast thing! :o

@iMystery I have imagined, and it is definitely a tricky thing! I was a German student, and they have villages six miles apart that can't understand each other thanks to accent variation; I can only imagine how tricky it gets when you throw that many languages in the pot!
