stuck not knowing

im at point in my life now where i feel im gona be alone for the reat of my life, im almost 37 years old and i have no confidence at all to meet someone new, should i just give up and get used to the fact its just me or cling on to the hope i can meet someone one day

you can never know what will happen, it's impossible, perhaps focus on friendships, they can be equally rewarding if cultivated
